Political Parties

On 2008-11-17 we sent out a survey on CIR to all political parties registered with the Australian Electoral Commission. (There were a handful of parties which could not be contacted.). The wording of the survey was:

I am  writing on behalf of CIR Australia to ask what your party's policy is on Citizens' Initiated Referendum. You will no doubt have heard of CIR as it operates in many parts of the world and has been debated and discussed in Australia for many years. If you would like to know more about CIR please see our web site at www.CIR-Australia.net

All responses to this survey will be shown on our web site.

Please be assured that CIR Australia is not affiliated in any way with  any political party or any political cause.

Thank you for your time.

Ronald Evans

President CIR Australia
